Pitch Intros & Internal Office Videos

Occasionally throughout my tenure at Geometry / VMLY&R Commerce / [Insert New Overcomplicated Merger Name Here], I’ve been asked to create videos for… various things, because apparently people like my tone—but more importantly, I’m known for making scrappy videos with, like, no assets whatsoever. So below is a sampling of my video scripting / video editing / voice-overing / time-crunched designing skills. If you don’t work with me, you’ll likely miss the occasional inside joke—but that’s OK. I’ll still love you for simply taking the time to watch.

Introducing Geometry’s Cross-Cultural Team

Back when we had a Cross-Cultural Team at Geometry, I was tasked with introducing our team at an agency-wide event… without actually being present. So I made this video. This officially launched my career as Geometry’s “Unofficial Video Guy.”

Geometry Pitches to Mars

Geometry had the opportunity to pitch to Mars—which was pretty damn exciting. And because we were in need of starting the pitch with some punch (and expressing our excitement in a non-generic manner) I was called upon to, well, do my thang.

Geometry Cross-Cultural Pitches to Kimberly-Clark

I was once again asked to introduce the Cross-Cultural team leads, this time as part of a smaller pitch to secure Kimberly-Clark’s Hispanic business. I was asked to make it weird, but not too weird, and ensure we all came across as a friendly, tight-knit team (which we already were, so that was pretty easy).

Geometry Town Hall

Every quarter, Geometry holds an agency-wide Town Hall, for which one North American office needs to create an introductory video. On February 2020, that duty fell upon the NYC office—which meant it eventually found its way to me. I was encouraged to “do my thang.” And so I did.
